After going to the Antiques Road Show in Salt Lake City yesterday I went just down the street to the Family History Library (FHL). My genealogy partner in crime, Teresa was with me. In hand I had my list of books and microfilms I wanted to copy. I tried something new with my list. I made a spread sheet with all the items in alpha numeric order by call number or microfilm number. My list made for finding everything very systematically. I just love it when I can find a film or fiche, now that they have the scanners. I made sure to bring along my 80 gig external hard drive - for serious business. ( Read more... )
