I am very excited for a totally personal reason. I just received word that we got our "new" house. You see we are buying a house on "Short Sale". Which means the seller owes more than the house is worth. Their second mortgage company had to approve the "Short Sale". We've been waiting for over a couple of months to hear if we got it - and we just found out we do. I am very excited about this new move. The only room I have to paint and put shelves up in is the computer room - just the most important room to the whole house! This is going to be a challenge it's even smaller than the room I have now. It's only 4 1/2 feet wide but 10 feet long. It's an old utility room. I have to make the best of what I can until one of my children moves out and I can take over a "real" room. I think many of you can relate to this type of challenge.

I've done my measuring and everything can fit but my husband has to make me a "custom desk". Tomorrow I have to go shopping for supplies. I already went to Walmart today and bought new shower curtains in celebration. Things are happening fast I close this Thursday. I'm giving myself two weeks to move. I figure a room a day. I want to pack, move and unpack a room each day. We are not moving far about 8 blocks away. Now for my major consideration - my DSL line. It's so hard to decide when my computer room will be ready. I decided to say the 12th, now I wonder if that will be to far away. Where is a crystal ball when you need one!

I know this move will happen right during the big announcement I'm going to make. Still waiting for the ok on the article - should be soon. I'm only going to be about a block away from the public library so I can always go there if I have to. I'm just so excited about everything. Talk to me after the move and see how I feel about it then. My articles might not come every day but I will keep you informed about what's happening. I'm sure I'm going to go through major genealogy withdrawal while I move and get settled. At least I can keep my computer up and running Legacy's IGI Search feature. My computer will be doing genealogy. When I need a break I can always come in and look at the matches it's made. That's been really great, gosh, I guess it really was the right thing to be involved in right now. Funny now those things work out. Someone's watching out for me.

Well that's enough for now. Keep watching for the big "new FamilySearch" article.

See ya tomorrow, for tomorrow is always another genealogy day.
