Ok, this is official, the LDS Church's new web-based program "Family Tree" has had a name change. It will be called "new FamilySearch". The "new" is part of the name but not capitalized, then it's FamilySearch with the TM logo. Hopefully this will avoid all the confusion over if it's part of Family Tree Maker or Ancestry's Family Tree and all those other products out there. I called Salt Lake and confirmed this name change this morning. They are such a great group of individuals up there. Really working hard to give us an excellent product.

I have a new scoop coming out hopefully next week for you. So keep you ear to the ground and watch for this blog article on "new FamilySearch" and how you might be able to get involved in the beta test after all - Yup! That means all you faithful readers no matter your genealogical experience level, you can get involved. Yippy, Yippy, Yippy - I'm happy dancing for you!

See ya tomorrow, for tomorrow is always another genealogy day!
