I made copies from The Settlers of Beekman Patent book (Allen & Backus families) and then returned the book back to the American Fork Library. (WAHOO!) I am so glad that was done. It's funny after I got home I was kind of lost as to what to do for a minute. There is so much genealogy to do I wasn't sure what to do next. I quickly decided to work on my Weatherwax line.

Several weeks ago at the FHL in SLC I had made some gedcoms off of the Pedigree Resource file. I was very interested in one in particular, Rebecca Denos Mann submission. She had copied a lot of information from Ancestral File and it looked like other sources to. It contained my Weatherwax information that it looked like I had lost. (Well actually to lazy to go back on Ancestral File and copy down.) I finally opened the gedcom and it had 18,933 records! I trimmed off the lines I wasn't interested in and came up with a Weatherwax file of a thousand people or more. I am currently working on cleaning it up to my requirements and then I will merge it with my database. That is a project that will keep me busy for a while.

My goal is to get my Weatherwax recovered from both Ancestral File (that's easier now) and One Great Family. After everything is caught up I will submit my records to the Pedigree Resource file. Well I guess I should say I will submit all my files at the same time, I still have to fix the Miller database' Allen line. Then I want to data entry the Jenkins information from John Austin into my Harris database. When that is all done then I will submit everything. I'm hoping to get it all on one CD on the Pedigree Resource File.

I stopped my genealogy work and went out window shopping with Teresa. We went to Office Max and looked at the all in one units. Print, scanner, copiers. We determined what type we were looking for. I want Printer, Scanner, Fax and Copier capabilities. Teresea doesn't care about the fax part. I also want to be able to scan slides and negatives. It has to be a HP with the new color ink (can't remember it's name.) It has very vibrant colors. I also don't want to pay a lot so that makes my request list very difficult to fill. Even though you can buy a printer or cheap all in one for about the cost of getting ink for your old printer, and that's with ink included. I'm going to wait for Christmas to buy anything if I do.

Teresa and I also went over to Deseret Books. She wants the picture of the Washington D.C. Temple mural for her birthday. We didn't find it at the store, but later we found it on their website. I told her I would order it for her birthday. I'm going to try and get the laminated one for her. Or at least laminate it myself if I can't get it that way.

Well that's all for today. Tomorrow is always another genealogy day:)
